9/29/2009 - Robert Deutsch and Shane Spruill of Outdoor Movies completed the week long Digital Cinema Technical Training curriculum at Christied Digital Systems in Kitchener, Ontario this week. Certification includes: installation, calibration, operation, 3D, service and maintenance. CP2000-XB projectors are available on a service basis from Outdoor Movies with brightness of 6000 lumens to 32,000 lumens. This model is triple fash and full resolution capable (Brilliant 3D).

5/16/2009 In a committment to digital cinema, Outdoor Movies adds Christie Digital Cinema Projectors to inventory. Our Christie CP2000-XB is capable of 32,000 Lumens of brightness and is able to light screens to 115ft in width. This versatile projector can also be used with screens as small as 20ft. Fully comliant with the studio's DCI (Digital Cinema Intiatives, LLC), these projectors allow the use of secure digital cinema content. Additionally, these projectors are triple flash brilliant 3D (full resolution) capable. 9/22/2008 - Outdoor Movies partners with Fresh Air Flicks to provide Metropolitain Opera with 40' AIRSCREEN for the season's opening performance which was simulcast in HD in Manhattan.
